Mic Pre’s with Prestige: Solid State Logic Launch PURE DRIVE QUAD And PURE DRIVE OCTO Microphone Preamplifiers

Solid State Logic is delighted to announce the launch of two new 2U rack-based studio tools: the PURE DRIVE QUAD and PURE DRIVE OCTO microphone preamplifiers. These preamplifiers are available in 4-channel (QUAD) or 8-channel (OCTO) configurations, and both incorporate SSL's SuperAnalogue PureDrive™ Technology, which was initially introduced by the company's acclaimed ORIGIN recording console. SSL 360° V1.6 introduces several key new features, including increased DAW integration for VST3 DAWs, a MIDI CC Layer, customisable soft key colours, and follow selected track functionality for UF1. Additionally, there are supporting plug-in updates for 4K B, Channel Strip 2, Bus Compressor 2, and Meter.

SSL 360° V1.6 is a free update that can be downloaded from the SSL Download Manager app or from the HOME page of the SSL 360°. The supporting updates to 360°-enabled plug-ins (4K B, Channel Strip 2, Bus Compressor 2 and Meter) can be downloaded from the SSL Download Manager.
