MY HUSBAND REFUSED TO HAVE CHILDREN WITH ME AND INSISTED ON ADOPTION – AFTER I EAVESDROPPED ON HIS CALL, I FINALLY LEARNED WHY, AND IT DESTROYED ME.

I dreamed of having a child with my husband, but he always refused. At some point, when I got desperate, he proposed adopting one, and I was baffled that he would rather raise someone else's kid than have babies with me.

One day, we had such a big fight about it that I had to leave the house. When I came back, he was on the phone with his mom. He didn't hear me come back, so I slid quietly to the floor near the door, desperate to hear his side of the story.
