The Swedish Connection - last shooting day!
Thanks for a wonderful shooting day at beautiful Snickarehaken in Åhus, Sweden.
Thérèse Ahlbeck and Marcus A. Olsson are co-directing and share co-writing credits. Julia Gebauer at Way Feature Films is producing. Solid Entertainment took care of production management and location services on the Swedish part of the shoot. The film will premiere on Netflix in 2025. #1943

Ladies Coffee International Premiere!
We are proud to announce the International Premiere of our co-production, the short horror film Ladies Coffee by director Amal Al-Agroobi. The screening takes place at Biograf Panora Malmö, Sweden, during the 14th edition of Malmo Arab Film Festival - MAFF on Friday April 26 at 18.00.

The Swedish Connection!

Solid Entertainment is proud to be on board Netflix ambitious World War Two drama The Swedish Connection about the true story of Gösta Engzell, an anonymous bureaucrat at the Swedish Foreign Ministry who influenced government policies in such a way that helped save Jews in Nazi-controlled countries such as Norway and Denmark.

The cast features Henrik Dorsin, Sissela Benn, Jonas Karlsson, Johan G***s, Marianne Mörck, Oscar Töringe, Loa Falkman and Olle Jansson.

Thérèse Ahlbeck and Marcus A. Olsson are co-directing and share co-writing credits. Julia Gebauer at Way Feature Films is producing. Solid Entertainment took care of production management and location services on the Swedish part of the shoot. The film will premiere on the streaming platform in 2025. #1943

Baltic Sea Docs!
In order to prep their pitch, Solid’s producer Magnus Paulsson, with director Edward Porembny enjoyed some wonderful - and intense workshop days at Pernigele (roughly 70 km north of Riga) together with the other participants of the 27th edition of Baltic Sea Docs. Last day we were treated with Pernigele’s signature meat dishes - well worth the drive from the city! 😋
