A labour of love. The archive of Gothenburg Konserthuset, which contains close to 3,000 tapes, digitized at the studio by Albert Lorenz and Kalle Gustafsson Jerneholm. All the recorded concerts by the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra (the National Orchestra of Sweden and “one of the world's most formidable orchestras” according to The Guardian) from the 1960's to these days are now also preserved in digital form. A treasure of the city’s cultural heritage we were honoured to work with for well over a year, using an array of tape machines set to perfect condition by Isak Edh to enable us to handle the different formats plus a special oven for the treatment of the older material. Because we love the smell of freshly baked tapes in the morning.

Tinariwen mix session with Kalle Gustafsson Jerneholm at Svenska Grammofonstudion for forthcoming Egerstrand, Jerneholm, SVT, FIV, Clandestino, Gbg & Co film production. One of the best bands in the world. Tinariwen is a band of Tuareg-Berber musicians from the Sahara Desert region of northern Mali. Tinariwen's biography has variously been described as "the most compelling of any band" Tinariwen won the award for Best World Music Album at the 54th American Grammy Awards.
