"Rome was not built in a day"
FABINHS' transition from the old to the new campus was a momentous occasion, though not without its fair share of challenges.
Its initial steps were in 2017, when heads and representatives of FABINHS, FABES, PhilSCA, DPWH, Lipa City LGU, the office of the Congressman, and the Air Education and Doctrine Command of the Philippine Air Force signed an agreement that the aforesaid academic institutions, after more than 50 years inside the military camp, be relocated and rebuilt at a different, more civilian-accessible site adjacent to Dizon Village in Tambo.
It was in 2018 when the groundbreaking ceremony of the academic compound, which would later be recognized as Basilio Fernando Air Base Civilian Education Center, took place.
The pandemic hit in 2020. The already challenging logistics of transferring school equipment from the old building to the new was aggravated by strict health and security protocols. But the FABINHS management soldiered on and successfully delivered school properties to the then 90% done campus.
The new campus was officially turned over to FABINHS in March 2022. FABINHS opened its doors to its first face-to-face classes post-pandemic in April of the same year.
