| Carlos Yulo went through emotional ups and downs and made difficult twists and turns on his career but still stood his ground, proving he can vault his way to the top of the greatest sports event on earth.

Dauntless in his second Olympics, the 24-year-old wrote an unprecedented history for the Philippines after immortalizing his name as the first Filipino to win two gold medals in the Summer Games.

For two straight nights, the Philippine national anthem was played as Yulo's magnificence in men's artistic gymnastics echoed all over the world after conquering the floor exercise and vault with a shining display of finesse and accurate ex*****on.

Yulo flaunted with a stunning routine in his pet event floor exercise to gain the highest score of 15.000 and gave the Philippines its first gold in Paris on Saturday.

He beat silver winner Artem Dolgopyat of Israel and bronze medalist Jake Jarman of Great Britain, who scored 14.966 and 14.933.

There was no stopping the small but terrible 4-foot-11 from Malate, Manila from making another history on Sunday after putting up an average score of 15.116 in vault that raised the Philippines' gold collection to two.

Yulo topped the board with 15.433 points on his first vault and maintained the lead with 14.800 points on his second act to outclass Artur Davtyan of Armenia, who tallied 14.966 points for the silver and British Harry Hepworth, who got 14.949 points and the bronze.

The newly-crowned Olympic champion will return home pocketing the expected P20 million incentive mandated by law on top of overflowing rewards from various brands including the extravagant condominium unit in BGC worth P32 million plus P3 million cash.

She declined to give a reason why. She will continue to serve as Vice President.

This is open to all entering first year students who are eligible for college, with General Weighted Average (GWA) of at least 96% or its equivalent for Full Merit Program and 93% to 95% or its equivalent for Half Merit Program, and must enroll in any of the identified priority programs at a recognized private or public Higher Education Institution. The full guidelines for eligibility and the requirements needed to apply can be found in the application portal through the link above.

Applications are open until July 15, 2024 only. Please note that only student applicants that fulfill the GWA requirements shall be ranked and selected subject to the eligibility requirements and criteria stipulated in the existing CMOs and availability of slots/funds.

The Caraga State University prioritizes the safety and security of its students and workforce, especially during the recent earthquake and subsequent aftershocks.

Today, the university released 𝗢𝗣 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗺 𝗡𝗼. 𝟯𝟯𝟰, 𝘀. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯, announcing the 𝗧𝗘𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗔𝗥𝗬 𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗙𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 of face-to-face (in-person) classes to 𝗢𝗡𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘 for both campuses, starting 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯. This is to conduct a thorough assessment of all buildings and facilities.
