A total of 157 graduates from the College of Allied Medical Health Sciences (CAMHS) were recognized during the 78th Commencement Exercises at the University Amphitheater, June 22.
Seven Magna Cum Laude, four Cum Laude, and one Loyalty Awardee received recognition among CAMHS graduates.
โI go by the Latin quote โOra et Labora,โ which means prayers and work while putting effort into our dealings with life and asking God to bless the effort we put into things," Mary Catherine Nakar, Nursing Department Magna Cum Laude, said.
Nakar also stated that she survived college through perseverance, and that the award was not the goal, but rather not having regrets at the end of an academic journey.
Moreover, the official 2024 graduates of CAMHS consist of 84 Medical Technology students, 42 Nursing students, and 31 Pharmacy students.
