The Amsterdam based, independent, non-profit (cassette) label Top Tape was founded in 1986 bij eM. Now, thirty years later, Top Tape is back again, with re-releases and releases of unreleased material. Releases for the next years:

A FEW COPIES LEFT !!!
The Amsterdam underground formation S.M. Nurse started around 1980 and split up in 1983.
In 1986 Top Tape released the legendary S.M. Nurse tape in a very small number.
In 2016, 30 years later, Top Tape re-released the original compact cassette tape. A limited edition of 150 copies, made by Tapeline Ltd (UK): almost one hour music on ferric-tape, taken from the original master-tape, with the original print on the slip cover.
Domestica did the sales and distribution. After Domestica quit, a few copies left. These copies are now available exclusively on this page:

RIP Lex Grauwen (1956-2022)
Lex was a good human being and a gifted and versatile musician. He was the founder of the bands Traquil Eyes, Beatnik Love Affair, Frozen Ducks and Sheiron. His music has been released by Top Tape, Stichting Stopcontact, Domestica, Onderstroom Records, Auxilio De Cientos, Manor Problems and Compassion Cuts.
We'll miss him, but his music will live on!!!

Vandaag was het bij Bijzondere Collecties van de University of Amsterdam / Universiteit van Amsterdam tijd voor het Amsterdamse label TOP TAPE . Deze cassettes komen allemaal uit 84-86. De meeste werden toen gedistribueerd door het illustere Stichting Stopcontact van Ruud Kluivers. Sommige zijn nu weer verkrijgbaar bij Top Tape of Domestica Records

In the 80s, Antonia -actually known for her amazing handmade collages- and EM, jammed regularly. At the beginning of the 21st century, EM seduced Antonia to start singing again. Last year Top Tape quit, but this digital mini album is an encore, and (largely) a reflex of their collaboration, exclusive available on Bandcamp.
