“Putridarium leans more heavily onto the side of death than they do doom, but man do these two tracks feel like an entire album. They maintain a fairly oppressive mix, downturning everything into muck, but generally refusing to slow, making sure your head continues to nod as your skin crawls from the grime. Keeping the vocal delivery at a raspy, throttled choke that, amongst the tempo dynamics, makes for a thoroughly repulsive stint in spite of it being but a 7″. Of particular note are how the melodies squirm like maggots through the thick chunks of sound, allowing Natvm Ad Mortem to easily speed up the glacialness of doom into a melting torrent of swallowing debris.” 4.6/5

Here we go - mandatory end of the year recap post! During 2025, our third one as a label, we released 3 vinyl, 5 cassettes and printed 4 shirts/long sleeves. If you’re reading this: everything we have done couldn’t have happened without your support. To all the people who stopped by the webstore, bought a record or simply cared for us: THANK YOU!

2026 is locked and ready: we are currently finalizing the last details for the first semester of release and it couldn’t look more exciting. As already previously announced, .death will deliver their first long awaited debut album during the spring and will unleash their second full length during the summer.

Our next release, the debut EP from Australia , is just behind the corner (about a month away) and we can’t literally wait to bring this new filthy band to your ears. More details very soon! Our fifth and final release of the year was “Insaciable”, the mini debut album by Colombian FLAGELO, on October 31st 2025.

Originally self-released by earlier this year, “Insaciable” is a living, breathing slab of extreme sounds spanning blackened death, doom and grindcore. Melding inventive and atmospheric ideas into a primitive and straightforward approach that retains vile power and weight.

Our second to last and fourth release of the year was "Immakulate Invokations", the new EP from Indianapolis ATAVISTIC DECAY, on October 3rd 2025.

Following the release of their 2024 demo tape, ATAVISTIC DECAY returned this past autumn with a new 2-track 7” EP. The release expands the band’s sonic identity and showcases their ability to evoke both physical and psychological unease, confirming them as one of the underground’s most promising new forces.

A true honor to have ATAVISTIC DECAY on the roster of Night Terrors Records since their first steps. This marks also the very first 7” vinyl ever released by the label.

Mystification Zine: “If you are stoked on bands like Krypts, Spectral Voice and mid-2000’s Evoken you’ll instantly appreciate the band’s approach to transcendentally charged Death Metal on Side A of this 7″, whereas the flipside contains an equally imposing droning dark ambient piece where they bring horror, which is themed by the transformation of the self.”

Our third release of 2025 was GRAVE HEX debut album “Vermian Death”. Released during the summer in conspiracy with Cavernous Records, the album delivers old-school, putrid death metal with a punk edge.

was (de)formed in Helsinki (Finland) in March 2024 by Matti, Miikka, and Martti, united by a shared vision of primal, worm-ridden death metal. Shortly after completing the album, the band welcomed Hanna on bass. Their debut full-length, “Vermian Death”, is a crushing torrent of metal, steeped in cavernous soundscapes and feral lyrical themes.

Continuing to showcase our 2025 releases, today is the turn of debut album, “Tranquility In Insanity”.

Released on May 30th 2025 in conspiracy with Desert Wastelands Productions, the US one-man dissolves Death Metal into catacombal atmospheres, 40+ minutes of pure old-school madness spanning across 7 monolithic tracks of slow and claustrophobic doom. A true horrendous sonic desecration.

With the end of the year getting closer, we want to take some time and celebrate the releases we worked on during 2025.

Reekmind debut album, “Mired In The Reek Of Grief”, was our first release of the year, on March 7th 2025. We can’t even begin to express how proud we are of working with this band and we feel this was a big turning point for the label too. Their mix of Sludge, Death and Doom is unmatched to our ears. Two new crushing tracks (plus a bonus one) have been recorded, mixed and mastered, and we literally can’t wait to drop this new material in 2026. Stay tuned for more details.

“Mired In The Reek Of Grief” is still available on Mephitic Fog Red 12” 180g vinyl through the Night Terrors Records store. One last special edition TEST-PRESS (12” Black vinyl) is also available to purchase as well. All cassettes and long-sleeves are currently sold out. You can find the CD version via .mori.label
