Eelke Kleijn’s original 2022 track had already been buzzing in the underground scene through repeated plays from the likes of Guy J, Richie Hawtin, Adriatique, Green Velvet, Paco Osuna, Miss Melera, Fideles, Kevin de Vries and Agents of Time. Then, a remix came along that catapulted it to international stardom. From a strong performance in the Netherlands – #24 in the official Top 40, plays on the most prestigious broadcasting stations and a #8 in Spotify’s Dutch Viral Chart – to BBC Radio 1 support, a #50 spot in Shazam’s Global Dance chart, adds to major editorial playlists on Spotify and Apple Music and international DJ support from key figures, the Joris Voorn Remix was – and still is – firing on all cylinders.
