Flash back to last week during the world premier of STEREOFROTH by Nick Dunston during Gaudeamus at DUMS . We initially commissioned Nick in 2021 to write a piece for us and are happy to manifest this online collaboration into a real life one.

Thank you Nick for trusting us with your work and so many trips to NL (we swear it's always sunny here!) and Matthijs and the Gaudeamus team for helping make this happen.

"El Sueño de Ícaro" is a sonorous reflection of the Greek myth and its similarity with the human being of today. The work, structured in 3 parts, speaks through the sound, parts of the myth and their states of consciousness.

1. Soplos: Holograma de un vuelo fantástico.
2. En el abismo
3. La transfiguración de los sueños

We are Ícaro because we are imprisoned in one way or another.
We are Ícaro when a desire leads us to tragedy.
We are Ícaro when we they warn us but we still fall.

There is beauty in falling.

Last May we had the opportunity to record 'Maybe' by Remy Alexander at KUUB, Ruimte voor kunst en cultuur as part of a collaboration with Gaudeamus.

Allison Wright was our amazing and patient sound engineer and filmmaker Onur Can Tepe caught us all in our best light.

On November 18th we will perform at Alt_Space put on by .today in The Hague. Inspired by Pauline Oliveros’ Deep Listening we will use audience participation to create a piece about the collective conscious. We’re excited to share this experiment with you live as well as online!

Save the date!!!

We're giving a virtual concert this Friday over at Gaudeamus. We've been busy working on new works by young composers during the last year and we're happy to present the world premier of Fabian Roa's electro- acoustic work 'Soplos', and the digital premiers of Remy Alexander's work 'Maybe' and our bassist Laura Nygren's piece 'Cars pass across a Fjord.'

Together with filmmaker Onur Can Tepe and sound engineer Allison Wright we recorded these three varied work in the beautiful space of KUUB, Ruimte voor kunst en cultuur with support from Gaudeamus.

A big thanks to all involved! We're so excited to share this with all of you!
