Death & Rebirth Ritual Art Festival is a three-day art festival featuring ritual performances by the international artists. The various stages of death and rebirth are explored through visual arts, performing arts, live music, panels, lectures, workshops, and DJs.

The diverse program invites self-reflection, connection, and wonder. 22-24 March, Treehouse NDSM and
MACA.

Artists from various disciplines come together under one unifying factor: Rituals. Rituals from various practices, both ancient and contemporary, have the potential to ignite inner
transformation. The theme of this year’s edition, "Portals of Incarnations explores how pain can be a doorway to transcendence. Rituals can assist in accepting, healing, and ultimately transforming painful experiences. The program includes, among others, a Sufi dance workshop with Rasha Vrede, a classical piano ritual by Anima Lab , live music from Maya Fridman and Farid Sheek, panel discussions and film screenings, spoken word and sound healing by Sofia Kaloterakis, and ritual art performances by Luna Duran and Lucas Foletto Celinksy, Wormwood Star, Myrgon, Sajjra (Peru), Giek_1 and many others. The festival concludes with a live DJ set by DJ Isis.

By bringing the theme of transformation, we offer a platform to exchange beliefs and experiences among different communities and cultural backgrounds, promoting harmony
and embracing diversity. The festival takes place in an intimate setting, with space-holders who can support participants in their processes. The festival is accessible to everyone interested in art, music, rituals, contemplation, consciousness, and personal development.

Yesterday, commemorating two years since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, a film directed by Stefano di Pietro “War on Education” premiered in MACA. Stefano di Pietro was inspired to make “War on Education” after having made “Books not Bombs”, a short film created in 2022, aimed to gather the funds needed to print the schoolbook “Ukraine and the World”, when the printing budgets of Ukraine were directed to the war effort.
The film is supported by EuroClio - European Association of History Educators
