--->This is to notify all HND 2 Evening Students that the forth coming 3rd Semester Exams scheduled for 12th - 23rd December 2022 has not been rescheduled, as against the rumor making rounds about possible postponement.

as it is, there is no reason for postponement. we call on all HND 2 Evening Students to adhere to the date as scheduled in the Academic Calendar and prepare for the examination.

--> As at this moment, Evening program admission list has NOT been uploaded on Kadpoly site. When it is, we will inform you.

Polytechnics, Monotechnics To Employ HND Holders As Assistant Lecturers – NBTE

The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) says holders of Higher National Diploma (HND) will soon be employed as assistant lecturers in polytechnics and monotechnics.
This was disclosed on Monday by NBTE executive secretary Idris Bugaje.
Only degree holders are currently employed in polytechnics as assistant lecturers.

Prof. Bugaje lamented that HND holders were relegated as technicians and technologists in laboratories and workshops in the polytechnic sector, which he described as “gross injustice.”

“Why should somebody from the university system come and midwife over a different system and become lords over them? The highest product in the polytechnics is the HND,” stated the NBTE boss. “As such, the best of these graduates should be employed as assistant lecturers and grow within the systems to have their master’s degree.”
He added, “They can rise through the ranks to become chief lecturers and eventually become Rectors of their respective institutions.”
The NBTE boss added that the scenario would change with the new Scheme of Service for the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector.
He explained that the scheme of service was awaiting approval by the head of service by the end of 2022 or early 2023.

The official date for resumption after exam for the ND 1 and HND students is 28th November , 2022. If your department has released the lecture timetable you can resume.

HND 2 EVENING exam will start December 12th December, 2022.

EVENING admission is still in process and will be out "very very" soon, when it's out.. We will notify you as soon as possible.

Kaduna Polytechnic academic board held an 'EXTRAORDINARY' meeting on the 5th Nov, 2022 to consider reports of examination malpractices for 2nd/4th semester, last session and have approved the following disciplinary measures....

85 students were expelled.

35 students were suspended for failure to appear before the examination malpractice investigation committee.

3 students were exonerated after appearing before the board and clearing themselves of exam malpractice charges.

The event Which was organised by Ubelle Nigeria Ltd, on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Education for Polytechnics in Nigeria, had three students of KADPOLY clinched the first, second and third positions.

Abdulbasit Dahood of Kaduna Polytechnic, who designed a remote ground vehicle for sterilization of contaminated environment scored 88.7, Abdulazeez Abdulhakeem, also of Kaduna Polytechnic designed a Face recognition student attendance system with 85.3 scores, and Ibrahim Abdulwahab Ibrahim of the same scho scored 84.7 with a designed and fabrication of a fish dryer.

Good morning.

-2nd semester continues 28th Nov, 2022.

- NYSC Registration for last batch of the year has officially ended. As said earlier the graduates that couldn't find their names in the senate list (thanks to Kadpoly mgt) will see theirs soon and apparently make next year's first batch.

Good luck to those who were able to register. Kindly not that your school ID card and statement of results are one of the requirements, if don't have them now, dedicated this week to getting them.

The symbol, “spider and its web”(Gizogizo), the crest for Kaduna Polytechnic was suggested in the early 90s. The symbol was designed by a local artist, Mr. Alexius Enche. The Gizogizo, which in many Nigerian and West African folklores symbolizes a hero, which by its sharpness, industry and tenacity always comes on “top”;

this aptly symbolises Kaduna Polytechnic’s desire to excel in and spread its services. The hexagonal shape of the crest symbolises the then six Northern States.

As the Exam for Regular students is commencing tomorrow. We pray to Almighty God to grant everyone better understanding, wisdom and retentive memory. Please be organized and well discipline.
Kindly Note that:

- You are expect to be in your Exam Venue at least 30mins to the time.

- You are to bring just your Exam Pass and Writing Materials.

-Your class rep will provide you with information on the venue you are to write your Exams(its normally pasted on the wall where you'd write the exam)

-Gadgets such as phones, smart/electronic watches are not allowed in.

- Do away with anything that can implicate you and abstain from examination malpractice.

Remember, Do your best and leave the rest.

2021/2022 1st/3rd Semester Examination not Postponed

The attention of the management of Kaduna Polytechnic has been drawn to the information currently in circulation that the forthcoming 1st/3rd of 2021/2022 Examination has been postponed.

The Management described the information in circulation as Fake, concocted and misleading which lacks any iota of truth.

The Management frowned at those spreading the rumors via the social media, claiming that the fourth coming examination scheduled for the 7th November, 2022 has been postponed to desist before the law catch-up with them.

To set the records straight, the management said Monday 7th November, 2022 remain the date for the commencement Examination.
