创刊于 1975 年的《新潮》，是一本以时尚女性为主的月刊。《新潮》诞生的那个年代，大部分的女性还未有挣扎于事业与锅碗瓢盆孰轻孰重边缘的矛盾，当时尚的确认出现了全新的指引媒介，惯有的想法碰上了冲击，平地一声雷，冰山底层的自主意识蠢蠢欲动，鼓动自省的语言在文字和图像的结合之下如浪潮般传递。由《新潮》所发起及主办的《新潮小姐》选美竞赛更发掘出许多名人，其中以国际影星杨紫琼及刘德华的太太朱丽倩更是热门话题的《新潮小姐》得将者。经过年代的更替、思潮的变换，迄今正庆祝创刊 36 周年的《新潮》始终以美妙及灵敏的姿态带领着女性们一齐昂首挺进。集合了全球最新的时尚、美容、饮食、理财与休闲等等的最新资讯，更汇集了具有启发性的人物专访及专题报导，《新潮》继续引发生活新感受。如今，《新潮》更获得马来西亚航空公司（Malaysian Airline System）订购成为该公司飞往全世界的航班内之唯一中文时尚杂志。
