Fishermen start their day early, sailing out before sunrise in traditional catamarans, canoes, and other boats. This is an arduous journey, as they have to face the strong currents and risk encountering threatening wildlife. They use a variety of tools and techniques to capture the fish, such as using spears, nets, traps, and lines.

In spite of the dangers they face everyday, they continue to show resilience and determination. They put in long hours of work, often returning late in the evening, often after sunset.
