In line with the Government's Bottom-up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA), that seeks to open up various value chains for wealth and employment creation, the Ministry through Kenya Forest Service (KFS), is in the process of recruiting 4,000 youth to support the 15 billion national tree growing and ecosystem restoration programme.

The youth, working in the programme dubbed, 'Green Army', will be deployed to KFS Forest Stations across the country to provide tree growing extension services and assist in propagation of adequate seedlings to support the 10-year national tree growing initiative that seeks to expand Kenya's tree cover to 30% by the year 2032.

Qualified Kenyans are invited to apply for the Green Army, Tree Nursery Attendants jobs, as outlined in the attached advert.
