Technopark - World’s greenest Technopolis.

Technopark, located in Thiruvananthapuram, the beautiful capital city of Kerala, is an autonomous society promoted by the Government of Kerala. This is a CMMI Level 4 Technology Park in India that has set an outstanding example for several other IT parks in the country and across the world. Renowned as the country’s first IT Park and the one of the largest one in India in terms of built up space, Technopark is reputed as one among the world’s greenest Technopolis.

Often referred to as one of Asia’s Best IT parks, Technopark was established in 1990. Today, it houses a workforce that consists of over 60,000 personnel, employed in about 450 companies on the campus. Technopark is extensively laid out across a massive 662.54 acres of land, with 9.7 million sq. ft. of completed built up space.

Away from the hustle-bustle of the city, in a tiny sleepy hamlet, experience Thiruvananthapuram’s ancient natural attraction, Madavoorpara, in an all-new way! A lesser-known pristine destination situated 300 feet above sea level, Madavoorpara is a favourite with pilgrims and tourists. The place is noted for its cave temple and Bamboo Bridge.

Walk up to the hill through the Bamboo Bridge to spend some time in a serene and secluded space. The 100 m long Bamboo Bridge is a sight in itself.

Besides the bridge, the bamboo huts atop the rock that bestows you with a panoramic view of the lush green surroundings stand apart as the main attraction of the place.

The Sports Hub, Trivandrum, commonly known as Greenfield International Stadium, and formerly known as Trivandrum International Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium in Kerala, used mainly for association football and cricket. The stadium is located at Kariavattom in Thiruvananthapuram city, Kerala, India. It was built on 36 acres of land leased by the Kerala University for Rs 94 lakhs per year for a period of 15 years.

The ground is designed such that it can be used for international cricket and football. The playing arena in the stadium has been constructed in line with FIFA regulations and International Cricket Council norms. It has a seating capacity for 50,000 spectators.

The stadium has been demarcated into four zones, where the north zone is dedicated for cricket, the east zone for football and each zone has a players’ lounge, gymnasium, media centre and stock room. Shopping malls and a food court are placed in the south zone. The adjoining pavilion accommodates the latest facilities for squash, volleyball, basketball, table tennis and an Olympic size swimming pool.
