Water scarcity in Sonabanjar Pulwama, people aghast
Residents Of Sonabanjar area of South Kashmir's Pulwama district alleged that they are without water facility from last 30 days and are not provided any solution.
"We have only one employee deployed for 300 houses. We have head of water store 20 kms away from our village", they said.
Now they appeal concerned authorities to resolve their problems at earliest

Budgam, December 1: Tosamaidan tourism festival held in Sitharan Budgam thousands participated in the event.The event was organized by department of tourism and district administration Budgam and the chief guests were DDC Budgam and Director tourism Kashmir.In the event both the chief guests congratulated people of Tosamaidan and its adjacent areas for their love and affection towards tourism and also congratulated them for recently declared tourism villages in the area.They also said that locals living around these tourist destinations have more chances for employment and have responsibility to keep these destinations clean.Moreover hundreds of school children participated in painting competition and other cultural activities in which prizes were distributed among position holders.

Budgam, 28 November:District president of Indian National Congress, GA Mir, And Firdous Nabi addressed a public gathering in Wuchoo area of Sukhnag Khansahib.In this public gathering GA Mir said that INC has already suggested the Center for elections in J&K so that people living in the Union territory can move towards employment and development.He further added that INC is the lonesome party in country which never plays the politics on the basis of caste, color and creed.He also added that INC had never supported anti JK policies and will never support such things but the ruling government has developed this type of attitude and has always played the role of discrimination through their anti JK policies.He further added if INC comes next ruling party then they will fight for the statehood of JK and will always look for the betterment of people.While answering the question about mass resignation of some district level members he said that they have resigned from their posts and bot from the party.He said that they were our members and are working under the banner of INC.
Today on 28 November 2021, the District Working Committee Meeting of Budgam was held at District Office, Budgam. It was hosted by District President, Aga Syed Mohsin. The Chief Guest at this meeting was Shri Ashok Koul Ji, the J&K UT General Secretary(Organisation). Other important leaders present were Dr Ali Mohammad Mir, National Council Member and In-Charge J&K MM; Arif Raja Ji, JK Publicity Secretary and In-Charge of Central Kashmir; Ashraf Azad Sahab, Senior Leader and JK Executive Committee Member; Imtiyaz Ahmad Bhat, JK General Secretary, MM; Imtiyaz Ahmad Dar, JK Publicity Secretary,KM; Morcha Presidents, Constituency Presidents and District Office Bearers. The meeting started with the lighting of lamp and then followed the procedure set for such meetings. The leaders who spoke on the occassion were Shri Ashok Koul Ji, Dr Ali Mohammad Mir, and Aga Syed Mohsin. The resolution which was seconded by Arif Raja Ji was passed unanimously. The programme ended with National Anthem.
