Seven dead as cliff collapses on boats in Brazil
At least seven people were killed and several injured after a large rock fragment broke off a ravine and plunged atop three motorboats at Capitolio Canyons in Brazil's Minas Gerais state on January 8.
According to reports, 32 people have been injured, and many are still reported to be missing from the accident site.
Meanwhile, rescue teams from the Brazilian Navy have been pushed into action to retrieve those missing in the accident.
Earlier, in the video posted on social media, a large portion of a cliff can be seen crashing into the water at a popular tourist attraction along the Rio Grande river, directly on top of several boats as horrified onlookers screamed.

The game reached the climax with the pressure high and off the roof on penalties. Mali FC were ultimately victorious winning the game by 8-7

IAF chopper crash lands in Eastern Arunachal Pradesh; five crew members safe
An Mi-17 helicopter of the Indian Air Force (IAF) crash-landed at Rochham helipad in Eastern Arunachal Pradesh at 9.25 am on November 18.
It was informed that the incident took place when the helicopter was carrying out an air maintenance charge.
The helicopter, which included five crew members including two pilots, one engineer and two other crew members, was doing ration sortie for the Army from Hayuliang to Rochham.
The pilots Sq Ldr Reddy and Sqn Ldr Kartik Patni managed to land the helicopter without any major harm to the occupants, however, the chopper rotors got damaged completely in the process.
Sources informed that a court of inquiry will be ordered to determine the reasons for the incident.

Kerala flood: Death toll rises to 38; state announces Rs 4 lakh ex-gratia to kin of deceased
The death toll due to the devastating landslides and flash floods in the south-central districts of Kerala has gone up to 38 as of October 19. On Monday, State Revenue Minister K Rajan had announced an ex-gratia amount of Rs 4 lakh to be given to the kin of the deceased. Meanwhile, The National Disaster Rescue Force (NDRF) and defence forces have been pressed into rescue and relief operations.
