Police starts investigation after man dies in Sopore.
A man from Green town Sopore area of North Kashmir Baramulla district was found dead at his residence on Thursday following which investigation was started.
Ab official told that a man identified as Naseer Ahmad Tantray son of Razak Tantray resident of Green town sopore was brought to SDH Sopore in unconscious condition, where Doctors declared him brought to Dead.
Meanwhile proceedings u/s 174 have been initiated and further investigation has been taken.

Kulgam : February 25, 2024:In case FIR no 14/2024 U/S 13, 18, 39 UA(P) act registered at police station Qaimoh Kulgam, Kulgam Police along with 1RR and 18 BN CRPF arrested four terrorist associates and recovered arms and ammunition from their possession.
They have been identified as;
1. Zahoor Ahmad Pandit S/O Abdul Gani Pandit,
2. Basir Hussain Pandit S/O Farooq Ahmad Pandit,
3. Imtiyaz Gull S/O Gull Mohd Bhat and
4. Gulzar Ahmad Khar S/O Ghulam Mohd Khar all the residents of Wanpora.
From their possession Pistol = 01, Pistol Magazine = 02, Pistol rounds = 20, UBGs = 04, INSAS Rounds = 24 have been recovered.
Further investigation is going on as more arrests and recoveries are expected in the case.

First batch of 630 Hajj pilgrims to arrive in 2 flights at Srinagar airport today
Srinagar, July 18 : As the Hajj pilgrimage concluded, first batch of 630 pilgrims is scheduled to arrive in Srinagar on Tuesday, officials said here.
An official told 630 pilgrims will arrive in two flights at the Srinagar international airport today after performing the Hajj.
He said that return of all Hajj pilgrims flights from Saudi Arabia to Srinagar will take place from July 18th to August 2.
He said that today two flights will operate first flight with first one at 08:15 am and the second at 12:15pm, carrying 630 pilgrims.
Executive Officer, J&K Haj Committee, Shujaat Ahmed Qureshi told that the authorities have already made arrangements regarding various issues relating to the arrival of Hajj flights.
This year around 12,067 pilgrims including 6,698 men and 5,369 women had left for the holy pilgrimage. Additionally, 111 women without Mahram also performed the Hajj this year.
