Amidst heavy snowfall, 1 kanal kahcharai land *encroached by ex-MLA Abdul Rahim Rather* retrieved at Nagam Tehsil Kokernag

Kokernag ,JANUARY,30:

Acting tough against the land encroachers, on the directions of DC Anantnag the Tehsildar Kokernag along with officials of Nayabat Sagam retrieved 30 kanals of kahcharie land during intensified anti-encroachment drive carried out across the Tehsil.

Land measuring 1 Kanal under survey no 336 min was retrieved from the illegal occupation of Ex MLA Abdul Rahim Rather, at Nagam today.

Pertinently, Revenue administration of Tehsil Kokernag has activated men and machinery on mission mode to evict the illegal occupants and retrieve the state,Kahcharie and Roshni land in the Tehsil

In an order which came from the office of Choudhary Roshan Hussain Gujjar, Ch Jaan Mohd State General Secretary JK BJP ST Morcha has been Nominated as Incharge of Udhampur-Doda Parliament Constituency and Ch Mohd Riaz khatana State General Secretary JK BJP ST Morcha has been Nominated as Incharge for Jammu-Poonch Parliament Constituency.

The order has been issued on the directions of JK BJP State President Shri Ravinder Raina Ji.

Roshan Hussain said that these Nominated Incharges are responsible for their alloted areas for the smooth functioning of party work.

J&K Youth People’s Conference President and Member DDC Anantnag, Advocate Mohamad Saleem Paray has requested Government of India and LG Administration for the regularisation of Daily wagers.Paray said that many of them have rendered services over two decades and have given their prime youth to their respective departments but they are still waiting for justice. Mr. Paray also demanded that minimum wage act should be implemented in Jammu and Kashmir so that these daily wagers should get the Due wages in terms of the Act.
In the prevalent situation when cost of living has drastically surged and even a regular employee is not able to bear the expenses of his/her household,these workers are paid Rs 300/- per day. It needs to be revised.
