The monthly has three fold objectives: to elaborate the goal of Iqamat-e- deen and indicate its dimensions, to guide the Muslim community with reference to the changing circumstances and tazkiyah and moral development. The content of the monthly is tuned to these objectives. The articles are not research oriented. Rather they have as target audience the educated, but non specialist layman. The articles are expected to be lucid and supported by rational argument. They should encourage their readers towards action .Brief articles are preferred. If necessary longer articles may appear in instalments. The content is expected to cater to the taste of a wide range of readers. The editorial appears under the heading of “ISHARAAT”. It deals with issues related to the task of Iqamat-e- Deen. An attempt is made to include writings on moral development and tazkiyah. Readers’ opinions appear in a regular column. Other regular columns are book review and answers to questions. Articles on Muslim world and Islamic activities appear frequently. It is not necessary that the editors may agree with the opinions expressed in the magazine. All that is expected is that the articles should be well argued and be supported by authentic Islamic sources, the magazine may publish different views on a particular issue; to clarify the questions involved. The readers are expected to exercise their independent judgment and reach their own conclusions.
