We had an incredible time pitching our first feature film, MILO, at Cartoon Movie last week! The reactions so far have been nothing short of AMAZING, and a huge thank you to everyone who attended our presentation and came to listen to our story.

And to top it all off... MILO was ranked the 3rd most popular pitch out of 55 projects! 🤯

Hi Everyone! 😊 In order to bring a bit of holiday cheer and good feelings to your week, we're excited to tell you about "The Spark Tree", a new short film which we have been working on this year in collaboration with Bento Box Atlanta, for Chick-Fil-A. Picking up where the Evergreen story left off last year, this film follows Sam, who must harness her unique abilities as a TimeKeeper Apprentice to help her brother and by doing so, learn the importance of compassion and forgiveness in bringing people together. Giant was responsible for directing and producing this film, including design, CG asset build, full animation production and final picture. It's a truly fantastic achievement by everyone involved and we're very proud of our team who worked incredibly hard to bring this film to life. Their dedication and talent can be seen on screen in every frame. We're absolutely thrilled to have won Best Storyboarding at the Irish Animation Awards on Friday night for our work on Zog and The Flying Doctors! A huge congrats to our partners in Magic Light and a special shoutout to Stephen Duignan, whose awesome work can be seen in this small clip where you can compare the storyboards to the final cut. Storyboarding is a hugely important part of the film-making process as it allows our teams to pre-visualise a film before it's made - establishing things like staging, acting, tempo and tone which then all combine to make an airtight plan for the rest of the production. #giantanimation #zog #storyboarding #animation
