Get a look behind the process of our talented Art Director when creating the colour and detail for character texturing within 3D animation!

"Did you think about how we colour up the characters on animation? I mean...this is my process when I receive a 3D Greyscale model. I love bringing to life the characters from greyscale to the final colour, so this way I can help to the texture and shading artist to find our lovely character 💜

This is Cúan from , the lovely little fairy created by Little Moon Animation, and this is how I did the Texture Callout for him, saving a lot of time trying textures, shaders, etc :)"

Tá Seachtain na Gaeilge linn arís! It's great to see Irish at the forefront of activities again this week. We're so proud that Fia's Fairies, our upcoming series for , will help young audiences with their Irish language abilities by introducing key words and phrases as gaeilge through fun adventures and warm, engaging characters.We can't wait to share more about it over the coming months, it's looking really cute.

The team at Little Moon has also been working hard on another exciting project over the past year: a language learning game set in the magical world of Fairy Island! The prototype phase of "Fairy Island - Language Explorers" is now complete with huge thanks to the Innovation Fund 2021 from and also thanks to

Woohoo! Little Moon are on the road back to with our new comedy series for 8-12 year olds THE SCAVENGERS.

We are so excited to debut this original series which we're rendering using and is looking SLICK if I do say so myself. Best of luck to all the other participants and fingers crossed we might actually get a chance to meet in person again this September...

SYNOPSIS
Welcome to the future. Humans have been forced into Space and Earth as we know it is gone. But when Arrow and his best-bud-robot are dragged back to post apocalyptic Earth, they form part of The Scavenger crew. Their task? A SUPER IMPORTANT mission: find supplies and determine if humans can ever return to their home planet. As the rest of the team work hard, Arrow and ARG surf on salt plains, catch tornadoes and befriend mutants. But can The Scavengers keep peace? Can a crew of two adults, four hormonal teens, a mutant pet and a robot live in harmony? The longer they stay on Earth, the more the crew begin to enjoy this adventure of a lifetime – and Arrow is happy to lead the way!
