Talkcha Vol//3 is released next week with three shows in Dublin, Cork and Galway headlined by Riastradh and featuring a selection of other contributors to the compilations series past and present (details in the events section.) And so the second Talkcha Tour came to an end (not before a homo-erotic crescendo of sorts at the ridiculous wrap party. But sher lads on tour) Still plenty of red-eyed revellers out there we're certain... But sincerely a massive thanks to Percolator and The Bridges of Madison County for takin' the rock out on the road and personifying what Talkcha is all about. Whoever says 11 guitars between two bands is too much clearly hasn't a clue what they're talkin' about! Thanks also to Luminous Live Events for facilitating such a project and lastly those who ventured out to see some exciting homegrown talent. Our new Talkcha website will be live very soon with lots of shiny treats including a stream of Vol.2... Stay tuned for info on that and indeed Vol.3. Til then, TALKCHA!

And after a VERY relaxing Xmas and new things break the Talkcha wheels be grinding ageen! Talkcha Productions is a collaborative partnership between a cadre of like-minded individuals. Our principal goal is to provide a platform for the independent music which is broadly representational of our own tastes and interests. We hope to offer an alternative soundtrack to the zeitgeist, focusing specifically on the music which defies traditional categorization, or perhaps does not fit cleanly into the existing channels of music coverage in Ireland. November 24th marks our humble beginning with the Talkcha Compilation Vol.1 (Nov. 2011), a collection of tracks from 11 of the most exciting independent acts in the country at present, being launched with a four date tour on consecutive days in Dublin, Waterford, Cork and Galway. We hope to follow up with Vol.2 early in 2012. If you would like to know more about Talkcha Productions, or wish to contribute a track to a forthcoming compilation please contact us at:

The economic situation is at best easily investigated, at worst impossible to avoid at present.
