Casting Paid:

We are casting the following roles for a Horror Feature Film shooting in Wexford in November. It is a Vampire Hire Horror Film.

PALE GIRL
The character is 14/15 years but we are open to older teens who look a lot younger. This is a non-speaking role but a very important one. The Pale Girl has been kept away from the outside world for her entire life. She has never gone to school or socialised with peers her own age, because of this she struggles to socialise.
This character at the moment is scheduled for 6 days over the month of November.

YOUNG BOY
The character is 12 but we are open to considering older boys who look younger. This is a non-speaking role but a very important one. The role does involve depiction of violence. He will be depicted stabbing a man with a sword. The stabbing itself will not be shown on camera. They will be asked to play their scene with ‘seething anger’ and they will be asked to scream.
This character at the moment is scheduled for 1 day in November

Two Stages to the audition

1 Self Tape:
Anyone interested should record a short video of themselves:

Introducing themselves, say their name, their age, and how we can get in touch with them. If you want to talk a little bit about what you are doing for Halloween that would be lovely. Then depending on the role they should do the following:

The Pale Girl never behaves in an overtly sinister or scary way, she's more creepy by virtue of her oddness. So if she could stare blankly into the camera with no particular expression, then bare their teeth and click/snap them together as if they are trying to scare us. Also if they could give us a scared look.

The Boy should could give us three different versions of a scream and show us an angry/furious face.

The audition tapes should be sent to [email protected]
In the subject line, they should put the name of the character that they are applying for contact information for themselves.

2 – Shortlist We will compile a shortlist and then the shortlisted actors will be invited to meet the director next week.
