Action minds drama club mayork upper basic and senior secondary school in collaboration with mind Advancement comedy and movie production company to conduct a two weeks training on makeup artistry and graphic designing (video and photo shooting) we thank God the almighty for blessing us with the strength to successfully complete the makeup course in the first week with our able and kind facilitator AISHA SAIDYKAH. I are thankful to the school principal and his entire administration for invite idea and implementation of the project in his school.

Mind Advancement Comedy and movie production successfully completed a three days intensive Acting training course with Diabugu upper basic and senior secondary school Action Minds drama club from the 28th to the 30th of July 2023. 26 students successfully participated in the training and all participants are awarded with a certificate. The purpose of the course is to promote the arts and culture of the Gambia and to uplift talents and creativities of the young starts. We thank all those who supports the success of the course and we look forward to interventions in the courses of performing arts.

Mind Advancement comedy and movie production is proud to present this young talented students with acting certificates after conducting three days training for them to learn the concept of Theater and the basic acting skills. We also established the Action Minds Drama Club in their various schools to engage and support them in uplifting their talents. The Gambia is fully blessed with talents.

On the 17th December 2022, Mind Advancement Comedy and Movie production in Collaboration with Action Minds Drama Clubs in schools organized a colourful and memorable Foni Schools Drama Day held in St. Edwards Upper Basic School. The program was aim at creating a platform where students will exhibit their talents in acting, public speaking and expose them to new talents and performance. The event was grace by some dignified Giants in Gambia Union Of Theater (GAMUT) in the person of Kitabu Fatty who serve as our quest speaker, and from the animal welfare Association Dr. Daffeh honorable guest of the day. Five schools participated in the competition where St. Edwards Upper Basic School emerge as the winners with an award prize of D5000 and Mayork Upper and Senior Secondary School as first runners up D3000, St Anthony Upper Basic School Second runners up D2000 Mind Advancement Comedy and Movie Production profusely thank our well-wishers, The Animal Welfare Association the Gambia, The ECOWAS, for their timely intervention, the Staff and the entire administration at St. Edwards Upper Basic School, the skillful scout band for organizing a pageantry march pass, Honorable Bakary K Badjie, Honorable Pa Dembo Sanneh Mind Advancement Comedy and Movie Production once again thank all the above mentioned Organizations and individuals for their tremendous supports to the successed of our event to uplift talent and creativity. I will not do justice if I conclude without giving a great thanks to the team behind the success of all activities of the event starting from the, Organizing Committee, Fundraising committee, Feeding Committee, and Entertainment Committee without your commitment, determination and tirelessly endeavors the event wouldn't come to success. Event Description
Foni schools Drama Day is organize by Mind Advancement Comedy and Movie production to create a platform for the young talented students in the schools to showcase their dramatic gift, and to expose them to new talents and performances. This event is scheduled to take place on the 17th December 2022. At St Edwards Upper Basic school hall and Over 100 students from ten (10) different school clubs, with ten (10) participants from each, will be gathered to interact, entertain and present a stage drama to create awareness for our audition.
Event Objectives
To showcase the talents of our younger generation
To uplift talent and creativity in drama and public speaking,
To create awareness via dramas
To promote unionism among schools in the fonis
To promote the existing knowledge of our cultures
Event Benefits
It will help participants to development on their self-confident, and improve their academic performance. And a cash price of D5000 will be awarded to the winners and D2500 to the runners up.
Other Awards will be given to groups and the individual participants.
