Mawuli is our Layout Officer. She in charge of web design and photos for blog entries, puts together termly issue after editing and proofreading process and designs covers.

Talia is one of our new Sub-editor. She does first stage check of all entries, reviews journal/blog entries and check accuracy of entries as well as maintains writing style and standard of VOX like referencing.

Good afternoon everyone😊 In the next few days we will be introducing you to our new 2022/23 Committee for Vox Journal!

Vikita is our Head of Proofreading and will be in charge of conducting final spelling and grammar checks before the layout process for articles as well as doing final blog entry checks.

This years Journal has officially been published !! You can get yourself a physical copy that are being distributed around campus or access it via our website. It is a testament of the hard work of all the writers and this years committee!

Also a huge thank you to everyone who came to the journals launch event that was a great success ! Please just drop us a message if you are having trouble finding the journal and we’d be happy to point you in the right direction !

Come along to run for a position and to vote!

If you can’t make the elections but would like to run for a position, please email us your speech and we will read it out for you

Exciting news !!

Our journals launch event will be at 8pm on the 5th of May at the Lounge. This will be a great opportunity to check out the new journal, network with others interested in Politics, Philosophy, Economics and/or Journalism as well as hear from our sponsors : British Online Archives!

The Call for papers for the 2021/22 issue is now OPEN! We are now asking for proposals to be sent to [email protected]. These proposals should be roughly 300 words about what you plan to write on. The deadline for proposals is the 21st of November 2021.

This issues title will be : The Uproar-ing 20s : 100 years of Unity and Division.

We will be accepting submissions from students of any course and some examples of what you may wish to write about include : Civil rights, The housing market crisis, The Black lives matter movement, Climate change, Disease and Discrimination (eg HIV crisis, Covid-19) and The Privatisation of The Space Race. These are just examples and you are welcome to write on anything encompassing Politics, Philosophy and Economics that you feel relates to the title, therefore It can include anything from the last 100 years.

We look forward to hearing from you with your ideas!
