Sledmere House are hosting a spring fair!

Join them for a craft, gift and vintage spring fair. This two day fair is the perfect opportunity to refresh either the home,garden and lifestyle all at Sledmere house.

With bustling stalls, exciting food, drinks and some unique selection of crafts there is something that everyone will enjoy.Every ticket purchase will benefit the nominated charities of The Yorkshire Air Ambulance and The Millie Wright Children's charity.

The Village therapies York run a non profit meet up for mothers and babies and there is one coming up!

There is currently four places left on the 30th April and they would love all mothers to attend with their babies for a catch up and to see how they are doing. With a non- judgemental space to vent this space encourages some conversation on more challenging parts of motherhood.

After the first 'Mums Unfiltered' group last month, there was some lovely feedback and the women left feeling supported and connected. They even created a Mums Unfiltered Whatsapp group, to allow everyone to stay connected between meet-ups!

Breezy Knees Gardens are reopening to the public this May!

On the 1st May 2025, Breezy Knees will be reopening their gardens, cafe and nursery. They will even be hosting a variety of events over the summer including workshops and their outdoor theatre!

The theatre will be showing many different shows like Romeo and Juliet, Jane Eyre and Dr Doolittle, there is much more yet to be announced.

Easter with Beetle Bank Open Farm! 🪲

For the second week Beetle Bank Open Farm are running their Easter event. With plenty of families testing their skills on the inflatable dart board and football speed test with Games on York!

Not only have you got all the inflatable fun but you can even get stuck in with Craft Katy in their activity room to do some face painting, from tigers to butterflies.

This event is sure to be something the whole family is set to enjoy!

Hole In the Wand are running a fantastic Easter Dragon Egg hunt this half term! 🪄🐉

Whilst collecting these dragon eggs to play some wizard golf, the trainee sorcerer, Thalorin has cast a teleportation spell to transport all of the eggs to Hole In The Wand, York. However, his spell has gone horribly wrong and left all the eggs scattered across the city.

Your task is to locate all the eggs, each will display a letter which makes up a secret word ...

Once you have figured out the secret word just repeat it to the wizards at The Hole In The Wand and if the word is correct then you shall receive a delicious Easter egg as a thank you for helping them out!

York Chocolate Festival is back for 2025!

This festival will run over Easter weekend with many different activities ready to fill a chocolate lovers day. 🐰🍫

The Chocolate Festival Market will be open from 10:00am till 17:00pm daily, here you can try and buy some sweet treats. The Easter Egg chocolate bar making workshop, mould and decorate your very own Easter egg with the York cocoa works team. The chocolate Festival taste trail is a walking trail around the city of York sampling some of York's food scene. With much more events ready for the whole family to enjoy some chocolate fun!

Easter Egg hunt at Brimham Rocks!🐇

Experience some Easter adventure this half term at Brimham Rocks. Make your way along the trails and find some nature-inspired family activities. This is bound to fill your Easter weekend with a whole lot of fun!

Each trail is only £3.50 and includes a trail sheet, pencil and choose from a chocolate egg, vegan or free from chocolate egg.
