Organised Ukrainian community tour at York Theatre Royal with Liliia Malakhova. Thank you Vicky Biles for hosting and offer a lovely hot chocolate reception at a cold winter night. All the visiting families were guided around the theatre which was still busy setting up the pantomime. Look forward to seeing the children at the theatre in the near future. Tom Bird

A lovely night with Ukrainian families to have fun at The Hole In Wand. It was so good to see the big smiles on children's face. Since we form the York Ukrainian Kollective at York Theatre Royal, we will arrange a series of activities for Ukrainian families staying in York to experience the heritage, culture and festivals. They have sent lots of lovely words to us thanking the great experience at The Hole In Wand and also complimentary tickets to the Pantomime at York Theatre Royal.

A memorable event we organised at National Railway Museum in York last October. Thanks to Science Museum Group we managed an international culture and history event during the time of pandemic.
We reunited the descendants of two famous families in the history Kenneth Cantlie and Dr Sun Yat Sen on Zoom. Mrs Sun, Hugh and Charles Cantlie chated about their father and grandfather.
This memerable moment was hosted beside the giant KF Class engine designed by Kenneth Cantlie and donated by China in 1980s back to UK at Railway Museum York.
Special thanks to all the staff at Railway Museum and Robert Sewell who helped me to initiated this event that brought history, families, friendship together.

It is a rare opportunity that we met Tim Manley before the last wave of COVID in Manchester in 2021. Tim brought numerous tour groups through Manchester to the cities in the north and bring opportunities of visiting economy especially from the Chinese market. OE Media publish local stories in North Yorkshire, West Yorkshire and wish to put them on the Manchester gateway platform as well. Best wishes to Tim in the future, we really appreciate your support.

Ben Fry always did a brilliant job promoting the city. We did a video that the town crier urge all the Chinese students and visitors to scan the QR code on all city street maps to get more where to stay and what to do information.

It's always a great pleasure to work with the magic team at The Potions Cauldron . OE Media team started a 抖音 tik tok account from March 2022. We produce a fun video almost every day to promote local businesses or attractions. We found it very efficient in sales. We need stories! If you have fun stories and related to the Chinese market, please let us know. We can come and have some fun of filming.

We borrowed two lions costume from Manchester in February and had a great photoshoot session at Castle Howard with Charlotte Graham. We still can't decide if we should keep them for future use or get two new sets in case our local businesses need us to support in some occasions. 😄 We need to learn some more footwork though to do it properly.

It's great honour to organise Lord Mayor of Leeds Charity Dinner at the Crown Chinese Restaurant to raise funds for Leeds NHS charity. We managed to have a full house of over 120 guests, half of whom are from Leeds Chinese community. Thanks to my team Jean Zhuang Shuai Wang YANI LIN did a fantastic job raising the funds far beyond my expectation. Thanks to Mingchu Wang and Leeds CSSA for the support as always.

We worked with VisitLeeds to launch the 2nd Leeds Chinese Students Ambassadors program during the pandemic. There are more than 6000 Chinese students in Leeds. We helped them to know more about Leeds and surrounding area, and more importantly to develop the skills to promote local businesses. I found it very effective to improve the mutual understanding and could benefit the local businesses. We are planning to continue the program and extend to York.

A great night to launch the Spring Weekend of York Wall Festival organised by Baz Jones Friends of York Walls and Dave Taylor. It's a pleasure that OE Media sponsored and supported the event. Thank Sheriff of York Ashley Mason attended the event and welcomed all guests.

York Wall Festival 2022 at York Mansion House. To celebrate two famous walled city York and Nanjing, 6 pictures from each city will be exhibited in the Mansion House, together with videos, pictures and presentations.

We organised the Asian community in York to go to York Theatre Royal to watch Miss Julie, a performance by New Earth from London. So good to see many visitors from China, Thailand to enjoy the show after a long time of lockdown.
Many international students showed their great interest the loyalty program Live 35 after attending the events.
