Lascaux International Center of Parietal Art ~ A Jewel of France that you should visit.

Lascaux is famous for its Palaeolithic cave paintings, found in a complex of caves in the Dordogne region of southwestern France, because of their exceptional quality, size, sophistication and antiquity. Estimated to be up to 20,000 years old, the paintings consist primarily of large animals, once native to the region. Lascaux is located in the Vézère Valley where many other decorated caves have been found since the beginning of the 20th century (for example Les Combarelles and Font-de-Gaume in 1901, Bernifal in 1902). Lascaux is a complex cave with several areas (Hall of the Bulls, Passage gallery) It was discovered on 12 September 1940 and given statutory historic monument protection in December of the same year.

The heat in mid-summer is in the late 30's or early 40's. It has ample signposts to get to the many parking areas readily available, including a specific area for Camper Vans and Mobile homes.

There is a very quiet corner in Sutton Harbour in the Barbican Plymouth which holds a small gem worth while mentioning for people to try.
Shadowed by the buildings surrounding it, the entrance appears bland and slightly out of place until you step inside. You are greeted with a " Friends ~ Central Perk " feeling to the right and to the left you automatically see a beautiful collection of wines and an abundance of pleasant atmosphere.
The wines are plentiful, the food is select your own to be housed on large wooden platters to share, although limited, there is enough to help soak up the wine and helps make the afternoon or evening a good one to remember.
It is not going to stop you going to a favourite restaurant, but it may give you another option for time out and allow you to recharge and talk about pastimes and slowly drift off into one of the better places in " Plymouth ".
