Tonight Matthew Mckinney wins The Kathleen Ferrier Awards 🎉 Accompanied by duo partner Roelof Temmingh, it was a thrilling evening of wonderful performances from all at Wigmore Hall.
After studying at Royal Conservatoire of Scotland with Stephen Robertson, Matthew moved to London, undertaking contracts with English Touring Opera , Opera North, Glyndebourne and working with Robert Dean. With some filming projects still to be released, we look forward to sharing more news later in the year 🎬

Today Christopher Nairne opens the Pied Piper of Hamelin with Northern Opera Group and West Yorkshire Symphony Orchestra. A short family opera by Sir Charles Hubert Parry, this new commission is suitable for audiences of all ages and will be followed by a short programme of opera classics. All the toi’s to all the team!
We are delighted to welcome British-Sri Lankan baritone Armand Rabot to the roster. Studying with Ben Johnson, he will perform at the 2024 Salzburger Festspiele as a member of the Young Singers Project and as Keeper of the Madhouse The Rake’s Progress for The Grange Festival. In 2023 he won The Grange Festival Prize and is a previous winner of the Junior Kathleen Ferrier Society Bursary for Young Singers
