CALL FOR YOUNG CREATIVES AND FILM ENTHUSIASTS Mediorite; an award-winning social enterprise and creative agency are recruiting young people for their April intake of their FREE film training course.* SHIFT GET INTO FILM TRAINING COURSE is a free in depth programme tailored to young creatives with the aim of getting them work ready for the creative industries. To take part you have to be between the age of 18 and 25, interested in film and / or the creative industries and living within the Hackney / Tower Hamlets area. We have a New, in-depth, work ready programme for 18 - 25's in Hackney and Tower Hamlets

We're looking for young creatives with a track record of creating content and set on a career in film for a new work programme starting in June.

Programme includes:

- 6 week ( 1 day a week ) training programme working as a team to make a social action film

You'll be working with a range of creative professionals on your creative practice with opportunities to develop soft skills around leadership

- 6 week ( 1 day a week ) personal development plan with a coach to complete your Silver Arts Award accreditation, polish your CV and create a showreel

- 2-6 week work placement with a creative business with a mentor and expenses paid

We have placements at large in-house corporates and smaller production companies making broadcast TV.

We'll invite you to an open day on the 12th June in Dalston and training runs the following dates for those accepted:

Pre production: 26th June - 3rd July

Production: 10th - 17th July

Post production: 24th - 31st July

You'll be based out of our office in Dalston and this course is the culmination of 9 years of youth film training with it's aim is to get you into sustainable work.

Our 2019 training kicks off with a free film screening on Dalston Roof Garden 29th May

We also have a beginners programme The Academy

Hi, hope your all doing well. I would just like to invite any young people ages 18-25 that are young creatives with a track record of creating content and are set on making a career in film. You would need to be people based in the Hackney and Tower Hamlets area and willing to start this programme in June and stay on it for 6 weeks (1 day a week) you will be working with a range of creative professionals to work on your craft and develop your practice whilst also developing soft skills around leadership and working with a personal coach to complete your Silver Arts Award accreditation, Polish your CV and create a showreel. As well as this you will be getting a 2-6-week work placement with a creative business with a mentor with expenses paid.
