Back in April, I was asked to provide Live Streaming for a funeral in Littleborough near Rochdale. It was a packed out church full of friends and family who were paying their respects to a much loved man.

It makes me really angry when Scammers target anybody but what’s even worse is when they target people who are grieving for the loss loved one. Sadly, there seems to be a rise in people being scammed into paying to watch a funeral live stream or accepting a Facebook friend request from someone claiming to be showing a funeral live stream (which usually includes the name of the deceased in the friend request). I was streaming a funeral yesterday and a scam was doing the rounds on Facebook asking people to accept a friend request. This was not set up by either me or the funeral directors.

Last week, I was sent a friend request to watch a friend’s funeral. It was another scam. Thankfully I didn’t fall for it.

NEVER accept a friend request like this on Facebook. A funeral would never be live streamed via a friend request on Facebook.

If the Live stream is legitimate, you won’t need to part with any money to watch it. The true link will have been sent to you probably via email from either the Funeral Directors or a member of the family.

Please be careful and vigilant- There are some sick people out there. Feel free to share this to protect others.

Back in Early April, I had the privilege of providing the Live Streaming for a Funeral Requiem Mass at St. Luke’s church in Prescot, Liverpool. It was a lovely service for a much loved lady - There was a gospel choir and even African drums!

CUP FINAL TEASER VIDEO - Very proud to say that the team I sponsor, Scorton Saints FC reached the Cup final last night where they played Marsh Utd Football Club at Morecambe FC’s stadium. It was the last ever game to be played in the north lancs football league. They asked me to film a Behind the Scenes video which I was delighted to do.

A couple of weeks ago I was asked to provide the Live Streaming for a funeral service at a Catholic Church in Salford, Manchester. As always, it was a huge privilege to be there and provide this service for family & friends watching around the world. The family were really happy with everything and you can see their kind comments on the picture.

This time last week I was filming a beautiful Memorial Service for a precious infant in the Yorkshire Dales. The villlage hall in Appletreewick was full of so much love and so much courage. It will live long in my memory. It was a privilege to be there. Suzanne Bairstow Independent Funeral Director did a wonderful job with everything.

🇺🇸 So yesterday I was working in London Town - I was Live Streaming from the US Embassy for an ‘In Conversation with’ event with the Cultural Philanthropy Foundation. Very excited to be on US soil and very grateful they had some UK plug adaptors!!

Yesterday I was back at St.Peter’s church in Leck (Inbetween Kirkby Lonsdale and Ingleton) to provide the live streaming for a funeral so family & friends from overseas could watch the service live. It was an honour to be there and be able to serve the family. B & W Funerals did a wonderful job once again.

It was an honour and privilege to be asked to provide the Live Streaming for a big Funeral in Long Marton, Appleby today. I also set up a live TV and sound link for a packed Marquee outside. Please get in touch if you need a roof inspection with a drone. It’s a great way to get some 4K footage and photos of your roof. You get an initial idea of any issues without putting expensive scaffolding up. Here’s some footage from one I did last week

Funeral Live Streaming - High quality is so important to me, especially when it comes to Live Streaming and Recording a funeral. I always like to arrive very early to get set up and make sure everything is working. I use high end video cameras to capture the service. I prefer to install my own wired microphones rather than rely on the church sound system. I have a vision mixer to switch between 3 different angles and an audio mixer to fade in and out the various microphones. Some people may think this is a bit over the top, but I like to do the best job I can for the families I work with.

At a funeral service this week in Goosnargh, Lancashire, the vicar was surprised to see how professional my setup was - "I'm just used to seeing people hold up an Ipad!" he said.

At the end of the day, you only get one go at capturing something like this and I want to be as professional as possible.

It was really good to work with William Houghton Funeral Directors who did a wonderful job.
