Glasgow care home residents unleashed their creativity during a day out at SWG3’s Yardworks Studio where they tried their hand at graffiti art. 🎨

Residents and staff from Florence House in Govan took part in creative taster sessions at the first purpose-built street arts studio in Scotland.

The visit to Yardworks Studio is part of Florence House’s ongoing wellbeing programme, designed to offer stimulating activities to ensure residents remain connected to the community through events and socialising opportunities.

Kelvingrove Museum is to undergo external repairs after an inspection was sparked by falling plaster from the A-listed building.

A long list of painstaking repairs are set to be carefully carried out to "to safeguard the fabric" of a section of the west end "building for many years to come," according to proposals.

Action was sparked by "falling plaster to the north roof lantern" in July 2022 which led to the museum's Porte Cochere canopy needing to be secured by a scaffold crash deck for public safety.

Dr Redding criticised “a culture of not putting things in writing, in emails, not putting things in minutes, an atmosphere of intimidation and bullying”

Dr Penelope Redding worked as an infection control doctor until 2008 and was involved in the preliminary planning for the QEUH, which opened in 2015, and acted as a whistle-blower.

Oasis have broken their silence over the recent 'in demand' Ticketmaster fiasco which recently saw fans asked to pay as much as £350 per ticket, around £200 more than had been advertised, after waiting hours in the queue.

The band say they have now announced two more dates at Wembley Stadium in September 2025, in a bid to try to help some of the fans who missed out by making tickets available through a special invite-only ballot.

A mum is indebted to Wishaw's neonatal unit after her twins were born premature at 24 weeks and survived 💛

Katrina Pugh has welcomed tiny George and Jennifer home after a gruelling 107 days in hospital.

Kids both big and little are in for a treat this weekend with the return of a fantastic air show promising 'iconic aircraft and daring aerial displays'. ✈️🤩

The International Ayr Show – Festival of Light returns to the town's shorefront this Friday (and Saturday alongside a Sunday event on the high street with plenty of family fun on offer.

A flat is up for sale within a building where Glasgow's most beloved architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh once lived. 🏠😍

UPDATE: Natasha has been traced safe and well.

An urgent appeal has been launched to trace a woman missing from her home in Rutherglen after five days.

26-year-old Natasha Buist was last seen leaving an address in the Lanarkshire town at around 6.20am on Friday (August 30).

She has not been seen since and officers say there is 'growing concern' for her welfare.
