CTP are very pleased to present the TESTA - analogue audio test unit, available NOW! Following the success of our dBbox series and by popular request, we now also offer a budget test unit for engineers that only require analogue facilities. Don't be fooled by the word "budget" though, this tester still packs a powerful punch. Features include line level monitoring, microphone level monitoring with or without phantom power, tone generation, noise generation, phantom voltage check, a four-wire box facility, two wire monitoring, audio test tone loop and XLR cable test.

The Testa includes a balanced combo XLR/Jack input and an XLR balanced output, two headphone sockets (6.35mm and 3.15mm) and a torch LED. It has a built in microphone and speaker and is supplied with a belt clip. The unit uses a standard nine volt battery or may be powered from its micro USB socket which may may also be used to update the Testa‘s firmware. All settings are retained in non-volatile memory.
Operation of the device has been made as simple as possible using three push buttons and a 128*32 OLED white on black display which includes a level meter with PPM or VU style scale and ballistics. The unit includes an auto power off function. Full details here - https://ctpsystems.co.uk/testa.html

Check out one of the latest innovations from CTP Systems - the DDM888 multi function monitoring unit!
The DDM888 is a 1RU Dante enabled stereo monitor unit with two high/midrange speakers and a single bass driver for quality monitoring.
The unit can access sixteen stereo network inputs, eight stereo analogue inputs, eight balanced AES inputs and eight stereo SDI audio channels. There is also a programmable preset button for monitoring frequently used combinations. The unit includes a stereo meter which may be selected to analogue PPM style metering with phase indication or bargraph. The unit may be operated using Power over Ethernet or 110-240VAC mains.

We currently have an immediate vacancy for an Electronic Assembly Technician for professional broadcast audio equipment based in house at our facility in Staplehurst Kent. Our products, designed and manufactured in house, are sold to outside broadcast
companies and facilities houses throughout the world. We work as a small team and the role will be varied. Your time will generally be split between circuit board assembly, wiring and final product assembly. The ability to solder is essential and ability to read a circuit
schematic would be an advantage. Social distancing measures are in place and hand sanitising facilities are available for use.

CTP Systems are very pleased to present the next generation of its legendary audio tester, the dBbox3 – the ultimate all-in-one audio test solution.
There have been Several ‘under the bonnet’ hardware changes in the transition from the dBbox2 to dBbox3.The unit now has a much more efficient, newly designed intelligent power supply for much longer battery life. There is also an auto switch off system with selectable delay. The accuracy of the test timecode generator has been vastly improved and the cable tester now also tests the XLR earth wire. Improvements have been made to the MIDI circuitry and we have even added a hi-brite LED ‘torch’ truly making this the only tool the audio engineer will need! We have also increased the loudspeaker volume and other improvements have been made for more flexibility with future firmware updates.
