We are so happy to tell you that BBC Radio Bristol presenter Laura Rawlings - who was diagnosed with breast cancer last year - has been told her end of treatment scans are cancer free.

She wants to thank everyone who’s supported her and got her through the toughest times. She also wants to encourage people to get to know their body and get checked regularly.

Receiving sad news of another legend that has transcended, Frankie Beverly of Maze has passed away. The family have an issue a statement, I’ll be doing a music tribute, the next time I’m the radio , to celebrate the incredible contribution Maze & Frankie made. Only recently they been appearing at live shows, performing to huge crowd, this has come as a shock. 🙏🏾🕊️.
