Based in Bristol and deeply rooted in his South Afrikan heritage—spanning Goringhaíçona, Barbadian, Cape Malay, and Huguenot lineages, Kabbo uses his craft to honour the stories of the past while creating healing spaces for the future.
Through ceremonial drumming, poetry, and storytelling, Kabbo explores the power of lineage, culture, and sound as tools for remembrance and connection. Founder of The Altered Festival, he’s dedicated to fostering multicultural perspectives and challenging stereotypes, bringing communities together through creativity and understanding.
