Congratulations to the Queens team for receiving ‘Mentor of the Year’ and Queens’ director Faith Musembi on receiving ‘Rising Star of the Year’ at the Buzzy Awards in Marrakech yesterday! 🙌

is the first premium natural history series to celebrate female leadership in the natural world, made by a female-led team. The female leadership on this project was intentionally set up to support women, carers and underrepresented talent at every level. To create a new working model for this genre that included, not excluded.
Queens has left a legacy that has quite literally changed the face of the industry. 🙏

We are overjoyed that the groundbreaking work of the Queens’ team has been recognised with an IDA Documentary Award nomination for Best Episodic Series. 🙏

Queens fulfilled our ambition to deliver something accessible, relatable, entertaining, and unapologetically dramatic, enticing a younger and more diverse audience to the genre. While new science underpins every sequence, this is not straight specialist factual. These storylines make dramas like Succession look tame.

A huge congratulations to everyone who worked on 'Secrets of the Octopus' and 'Queens'. We're immensely proud to say that Wildstar have received a total of 3 Critics Choice Documentary Award nominations for these productions.
