However we’ve moved quickly and found a replacement in Birmingham based outfit BORN ZERO. Formed in School in 2015, Born Zero are a hard hitting groove metal/hardcore band from the heart of heavy metal music itself. Mixing the classic 90's metal sound with a modern twist, Born Zero have something to offer for any fan of heavy metal, old or new!
They have been likened to Malevolance, Pantera and Lamb Of God and will be onstage on Friday at 19:30. Huge thanks to Dan at DC Sound Attack for the assistance.

We've reviewed the audience & judging votes from both Semi Final shows and are incredibly please to confirm that Vanitas will be taking the last slot at our Grand Final with just 1 point between them and the previous finalists.
They will be joining Kensei BORN ZERO The Black Hounds and passive.fix for what is set to be a tough night for the judges.
We also have last year's winners and special guest headliners joining us at the Devil’s Dog Digbeth , so please help to support independent music and keep your local venues afloat by purchasing tickets in advance and joining this incredible lineup of the Midland's finest metal.

The mad man behind this eccentric abomination is Professor Partorius who utilises elements from the likes of Mindless Self Indulgence, System Of A Down and Electric Six.

Heat 5 Artist Spotlight - are a Birmingham-based old school death metal band originally formed by former Benediction / Cerebral Fix bass player Paul Adams in 1991.
Absolution played throughout the UK, most notably with the likes of Bolt Thrower, Benediction, Gorguts and Cannibal Co**se. Absolution disbanded in 1994.
Musically, Absolution is in the vein of the likes of Benediction, Bolt Thrower, Obituary, Massacre and Master. Lyrically, Absolution obsesses with serial killers and mass murder.
