A big thank you to Powerplay Rock and Metal Magazine and Chris Kee for a 10/10 review for the new MSW album in this month's edition. The magazine will be in the shops from tomorrow as far as I know. The album is being released in just over a week. We are planning a premiere listening event online for 'Lost In Memories Lost in Grief' where the whole album will play from start to finish and you can interact with us. This is MSW's first full metal release since There Was Death six years ago. We can't wait for you to hear it!

NEW ALBUM OUT NOW

'Waterline', the debut album of our band Eventide is out now via Aesthetic Death

The founding of EVENTIDE and, subsequently, 'Waterline' gradually appeared to us during the writing process of 'II'.

After the completion of the record, the three of us wanted to create something different, exploring new horizons.

The influence of ambient, jazz and electronic music is already present in EPITAPHE's music, but in an understated way. With 'Waterline' we have been able to fully embrace these sources of inspiration.

EVENTIDE represents both a continuation of our sound and an evolution into something completely new.

It was also an opportunity to work with a different compositional dynamic and direction within the band; the music being written collectively during long improvised sessions.

To nurture that improvised feel we decided to record 'Waterline' mostly live, leaving plenty of room for digression and the unexpected.

The album itself is a journey in constant motion, which evolves, unfolds and cycles between drone, experimental electronics & dark-jazz atmospheres.

We hope that you will find the same sense of spontaneity and excitement that animated us during the creation of this odd yet evocative amalgamation of sound.

The album is available as a limited cd digipack edition & as a "name your price" digital release.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I am very pleased to be part of, and able to announce that My Silent Wake have joined forces with dark and atmospheric experts, Ardua Music in order to unveil our latest album titled, ‘Lost in Memories, Lost in Grief’ (an apt title given very recent personal events).

As is becoming a long-standing tradition, the album was recorded (mostly), mixed and then mastered at Priory Recording Studios by Greg Chandler (Esoteric).

The album is due to be released on May 3rd 2024 and will be available on Vinyl, CD and Cassette, as well as digitally.

As can be seen, ‘Lost in Memories, Lost in Grief’, will be adorned in the evocative artwork of Matthew Vickerstaff (My Dying Bride, Cradle of Filth, Mayhem…)

February 28th will see the release of the first single and accompanying video, and Pre-Orders will also go live on the same day.
