Somali Region Pastoral and Agro-pastoral Research Institute ( SoRPARI ) Is Governmental Oraganization That Was Established in 2002 For The Proclamation No. 31/02 and developed first research system strategy ( with 8 program ) plus Initiated Agro-ecology based several research centers and sub-centers 8 in number • In order to delivery to end users, the institute, through well-orchestrated efforts,

had delivered total of 132 technologies, information and knowledge to regional and federal stakeholders • SoRPARI did not take long to build considerable reputation has been actively involved farmers capacity building of 250 FRGs cooperatives backed up with capacitating trainings and guidance for pre-and post-harvest handling technologies
