Synergy between AI and STEM education
~~~~
Discover the dynamic synergy between AI and STEM education, pivotal pillars in our modern landscape.
AI, or artificial intelligence, is the driving force behind machines performing tasks that traditionally demand human intelligence, encompassing reasoning, learning, decision-making, and natural language processing.
On the other hand, STEM education, comprising science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, forms the bedrock for innovation, problem-solving, and economic growth.
The connection between AI and STEM is profound; AI enriches STEM education by offering personalized learning experiences, adaptive platforms, virtual labs, intelligent tutoring, data analysis, automated grading, and engaging applications, equipping students with essential skills for the evolving job market.
Simultaneously, STEM education nurtures AI by fostering computational thinking, scientific inquiry, engineering design, and mathematical reasoning, empowering students to comprehend and create AI systems. In the ever-evolving landscape, Artificial Intelligence isn't just a buzzword; it's a transformative force, shaping the future of STEM fields and preparing leaders for a tech-driven world. Embrace the boundless possibilities at the intersection of AI and STEM education!
The answer to the week's Super Sleuth is phytoplankton. Marine phytoplankton require just the right amount of sunlight, dissolved nutrients, and moderate water temperatures—not too hot or cold—to make their populations explode into blooms that can cover hundreds of square kilometers of the sea. These phytoplankton blooms are a rich food source for zooplankton, fish, and other marine species.
This Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) true- or natural-color image acquired on January 12, 2024, shows a phytoplankton bloom near Long Bay, Australia The true color imagery layer uses a combination of wavelengths to produce imagery that is similar to what the human eye would see. This VIIRS imagery is available only as near real-time imagery and can be visualized in Worldview and the Global Imagery Browse Services (GIBS). The imagery resolution is 250 meters, and the temporal resolution is daily.
The combination of the cargo spacecraft and the Y8 carrier rocket has been transferred to the launch pad at Spacecraft Launch Site in South China's Hainan Province.
At present, all facilities and testing systems at the launch site are in good condition. Functions and joint tests will be carried out before the launch.
Tianzhou-7 cargo craft carries supplies including nearly 90 kilograms of , daily supplies for astronauts, environmental control and life-support supplies, etc.
With a larger carrying capacity, starting from Tianzhou-7 mission, the launch frequency of the cargo spacecraft has been reduced from twice a year to three times every two years.
