Foundation

Foundation is a multidisciplinary art platform initiated by a collective of like minded music aficionados.

First established as a record label in 2017, party organisation and get togethers from their Berlin homestead soon followed. By connecting various realms of electronic dance music; past, present and future, This genre-bending label may give a sense of ambiguity at first, but quickly becomes transparent when going through its discography. An open minded approach pieced together by a common ideology

, akin to the minds behind it. With modern tools, delving deep into electronic dance music’s short but vast history has never been as accessible. Thus a label no longer bound to a geographical or periodical framework was born. For a group of youngsters wanting to share their vision with the world, event organisation was a natural path to follow. While always striving to put on top tier productions with a roster of internationally recognised artists, the goal of the parties has never been to showcase a certain level of prominence or a high end cachet, but simply to put on good music, with good people, to ultimately enjoy great times.

After a one and half year hiatus we are back with the Foundation debut of a talent who’s always been bound to be part of our family. Matthew Dexter shares with us “Future Radionica:” a special four tracker shaped to ﬁt our output. Straying away from his usual darker trademark sound, Matthew presents an EP full of light and energy to kickstart a path into new territories, both for him and us alike.
