Working was never so funny. We are enjoying every minute interviewing people who performed for the Nero hilarity show.
Sometimes you have to film the same location a few times until you get it exactly to your liking.
Unusaul in Every Way
Winnipeg Premiere at the Rady JCC International Jewish Film Festival- Sunday May 29 @2:00 Q&A and light refreshments following the film.
A compelling documentary about Don Barnard, an indigenous man living with autism and post-traumatic stress disorder due to lifelong abuse, racism, and discrimination. The movie describes his unique friendship with Professor Solly Dreman, a clinical Physiologist who was born in Winnipeg but made an Aliyah to Israel many years ago. Solly invited Don to visit him in Israel and helped him in many ways. The inspiration and hope Don drew from his visit serves as a way to heal Don’s community. In Israel, Don witnessed with his own eyes the results of Post Traumatic Growth and how Israel emerged from the trauma of the holocaust. During his visit, he spoke with Solly’s friends and vowed to share his findings with his people as he proclaimed: “I owe it to my people”. Don is an intelligent hero who voices the outcry of his own nation. He lives through the painful history of his people. The film was selected and was a semi-finalist in the Toronto Alternative Film Festival. It is a true masterpiece with great effects, impressive photography, and an emotional journey for all. See less

Today is International Holocaust Remembrance Dad. We remember the millions of victims that were murdered because they were Jewish . We are also reminded to take actions to ensure that these type of events will not happen again. #FixIt is an educational/advocacy documentary. It follows Isaac Gotfried, a Holocaust survivor who has dedicated his life to sharing his story with students of all ages to urge them to perform Tikkun Olam—a Hebrew phrase that calls upon us to repair the world. When Isaac speaks to high school students, he is delighted with their actions.
