WATCH: 📺 Amos the Kid’s From the Attic session is now live.

With clever wordsmithing and a knack for infectious melodies, laidback singer-songwriter Amos Nadlersmith transmits his comforting tunes like an open-armed embrace. A union of warped country, folk and indie-rock, Amos the Kid surfs somewhere in the oasis between. Hear Amos and his band perform songs from their highly anticipated debut album, Enough as It Was, out now via House of Wonders.

WATCH: 📺 Bloc Parents' From the Attic session is now live.

Fronted by members of Novillero and The Sorels, and rounded out (a circle with a sharp edge) by two Windups, Bloc Parents had their start as a one-off tribute to L.A. band X. Self-penned tunes that subscribed to that same dual vocal dynamic eventually followed. A mod/power pop foundation stone thrown into a post-punk well. Ahead of the band’s debut release, hear them serve up some freshly baked tunes.

An accomplished singer-songwriter, Claire Thérèse crafts songs with a quiet intensity, turning ordinary observations into vivid portraits while using voice and piano as the lens through which she focuses all of it. Thanks to The Uniter for highlighting From the Attic in this week's issue.

There are more than just termites and cobwebs thriving in a certain Winnipeg attic.

WATCH: 📺 Age of Self's From the Attic session is now live.

Started in the fall of 2021 by friends and veterans of Winnipeg's weird music scene, Age of Self plays hardcore punk as both experimental artwork and radical social critique. Announcing a full-bodied return to punk ethics in time for capitalism's final crisis, Age of Self has more questions than answers and more songs than solicited, including "Age of Self" "Forgive" "Cloud in Pants" and "All Souls."
