The virtual workshop Introduction to Augmented Reality with Spark will be led by instructor Dallas Flett-Wapash. Dallas is an Ininew-Seaulteaux from the Keeseekoose First Nation. He is currently based in Brandon, Manitoba, working on Game Design and other interactive art forms with Unity. In his workshop, participants will be able to learn how to create and design their own augmented reality filters using Spark AR Creators.

Who are the IM4 Matriarchs?
⚡️Loretta Todd (Métis Cree Canadian) is the Creative Director and Media Matriarch of IM4 Lab and is an internationally acclaimed, award-winning filmmaker who directed Monkey Beach, as well as co-writing and serving as one of the producers.
⚡️Doreen Manuel (Secwepemc/Ktunaxa) is an IM4 Matriarch who holds a MFA from the Film Department at UBC and is the Director of the BOSA Centre for Film and Animation at Capilano University.
⚡️Cease Wyss Skwxwu7mesh/Sto:Lo/ Hawaiian/Swiss, is an IM4 Matriarch and a multimedia artist with over 25 years experience in this field. She has produced various formats of media art, as well as being a mentor in her field for close to 15 years.
⚡️Tracey Kim Bonneau is member of the Syilx Nation (Okanagan), born and raised on the Penticton Indian Reserve in British Columbia, Canada. Tracey is an IM4 Matriarch and a multiple award-winning veteran documentary Director, Writer, and Producer.
The IKT Podcast is a creation of the IM4 Lab with the aim to amplify the voices of Indigenous creatives working with immersive technologies. The series shares the experiences, insights and stories of Indigenous digital leaders and artists from around the world.

The IM4 Lab is looking to hire a graphic designer to create engaging, and beautiful graphics for event promotion. This includes the entire process of defining requirements, visualizing and creating graphics including layouts and photos. You’ll be responsible for shaping the visual aspects of marketing materials. This position is set up to be part-time approaching full-time based on needs of the IM4-Lab.
Your graphics should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message. For this, you need to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design. To help us evaluate your talent, we would like to see your portfolio of professional design projects. A good sense of branding is essential.
Excellent communication and organization skills, ability to manage ambiguity and take initiative, and previous experience working in graphic design. Ultimately, the goal is to inspire and attract attention to events and activities.
