Celebrating 15 years of independent genre films! CREEPY SIX FILMS was founded in 2001 by Vince D'Amato and Nicole Hancock to produce genre films for the international film market. For nearly ten years, working with The Asylum, Brain Damage Films, and Unearthed Films, we produced and released our own experimental, surreal, and comedic horror and revenge movies for film market territories all over t
he world. In 2011, we started a new international production company, BRIVIDO GIALLO, which has taken over all of the film production duties, while Creepy Six Films remains the umbrella company through which these new films are released. BRIVIDO GIALLO was formed by Vince D’Amato and Mickey E.Vil in September of 2011; based out of London, UK and Brescia, Italy. The new production company is focused on genre films influenced by the Gialli of the 1970s and 1980s and incorporating the heady imagery of the fantastique, creating subversive, emotional and erotic Italian/European thrillers into a very unique realm of the giallo surreale. Creepy Six Films is currently staffed by Vince D'Amato, Rob Carpenter, and Dionne Copland;
Brivido Giallo is staffed by Vince D'Amato and Mickey E.Vil. Director's Biographical Note:
"After co-founding the independent genre film production company Creepy Six Films in Vancouver, Canada, in 2001, Vince D’Amato wrote, produced, and directed four feature films, three short films, and two internet TV series for the Canadian company. In 2004 and 2005 their first two features became international cult hits, being widely distributed in Italy, Spain, Japan, Germany, Russia, UK, Canada, and America. In 2011, Vince moved from Canada and launched Brivido Giallo, an international production company based in Italy (with his production partner Mickey E.Vil in Brescia) – where he completed his fifth feature, the mind-twisting thriller titled Reversed (2013). Returning to Vancouver, he executive-produced the short film Dirty Bill of Health for a new Canadian filmmaker through Creepy Six Films, and he founded the Shivers Film Society, which focuses on the exhibition of independent and cult genre Canadian films. In September of 2013, produced with Brivido Giallo, he directed his sixth feature film, Glass (upcoming 2014/2015). Vince currently spends his time working between Vancouver, Canada and London, UK, and is focused on producing artistic genre films for theatrical exhibition." Review from Cosi Perversa:
