The men who risk their reputations every time they go on the air.
Born in Quebec City, Canada to American parents, Ferris learned his appreciation of music very early on. His father was a Professor at Florida State University and his mother a clothing designer in Miami. Ferris lived with his parents and brother in Marco Island, Florida and spent most of his summers in Canada.
Ferris got his degree in Philosophy at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. He became an icon at the University Radio Station, doing research on music as his past time, and was known for barging in on air just to talk with the hosts. The program director liked his spontaneous interruptions and gave him a weekly show called " What Really Grinds My Gears" a platform for him and listeners to rant about anything. Once Ferris graduated, and because of his huge passion for Grunge, he travelled to Seattle to learn more about the music of that era. Once done there, he crossed the border into Vancouver to begin his journey following his favourite artist, Bryan Adams. After following Bryan’s tour he made his way to Colombia where everything became somewhat of a blur...
Ferris has published one book titled S**U, a collection of rants and other aggrivating experiences which put Ferris on everyone's radar. He has been known to party in the Big Apple with the Likes of John McEnroe, Justin Bieber, Charlie Sheen, & Courtney Love. What happened on those nights, nobody knows.
Ferris has a huge love for music, animals, and travelling. He devotes his time to animal shelters and rescues, and is a dedicated member of parliament, when he is not busy with the Ferris Wheel Show. He has done many things in his life, some of which can never be mentioned and how he’s survived it, we will never know. Ferris claims he does not know Marilyn Manson, we call FAKE News on that one.
Dr. Ian M. Clarke:
Born in Leipzig, Germany, to a wealthy and debauched Austrian father and a beautiful though unstable American mother, Ian Clarke enjoyed a privileged upbringing, with summer vacations on a private Greek island and winter escapades at St. Moritiz.
Revealing a precocious aptitude for music, at the age of ten Mr. Clarke became the youngest student admitted to Julliard. While at the school, Mr. Clarke provided a new, award-winning orchestration to the popular Broadway musical, West Side Story, prompting composer Leonard Bernstein to comment, “This kid has forgotten more than I will ever know.” Mr. Clarke received a Doctorate of Music Degree from the University of California, Berkeley, which later published his thesis, ‘Burt Bacharach: Genius or Just Screwing Around?’
A widely publish author, Dr. Clarke’s most recent book is currently climbing the New York Times best seller list. Entitled, Shut Up You Big Baby, the book offers his original insights from three months on the road with Justin Bieber.
Aside from his amusing and erudite contribution to the Ferris Wheel podcast, Dr. Clarke lends his talents to helping disadvantaged youth, funding a shelter for injured and unwanted puppies, and many other charities that make him popular with women.
Steven Wheeler:
Born deep in the Norwegian Wood to a musical Turkish father from Istanbul (Not Constantinople) and a Galway Girl, Steven Wheeler enjoyed a viking metal upbringing, with summer vacations in Tropical London and winter escapades Somewhere in Stockholm.
Having shown a certain talent at a young age for pontificating in an erudite way about music, Wheels spent a great deal of his twenties traveling and proselyting around the world spending One Night In Bangkok, discovering No More Parties in L.A, being in a New York State of Mind but getting No Sleep Till Brooklyn. After dating Miss Little Havana, he spent some time from Montgomery to Memphis to learn the sounds of every corner of the continent. After discovering Jesus Just Left Chicago, he decided to become Justice in Ontario for a while to work on accumulating a huge musical collection.
After being rescued by Ferris Kennedy from huge piles of records having fallen on him while preparing a playlist for his Honolulu Baby, Wheels decided to become a musical monk and spend his life roaming the world to educate and elevate the musical souls of those he encounters in the name of Lady of Carlisle.
Wondering if he should Move to L.A, Move to Miami or commit Murders in the Rue Morgue, he wisely decided to move to Spanish Harlem. There he met The Girl from Ipanema and became The Count of Tuscany before rejoining forces with his spiritual guide Ferris Kennedy and his musical sherpa Dr.Ian Clarke to offer tidbits of sanity to their amusing and erudite contributions to the Ferris Wheel podcast.
