I will continue to be there for family

Sometimes friends ARE family
I will finish what I started
I will no longer beat a dead horse
I will be more productive
I will improve my vetting process :)
I will continue to look my best
I will not make promises I cannot keep
I want to travel more
I will save money for a rainy day
Lord knows it’s been stormy :)
All negative vibes will not affect me
All negative people will not matter
You know who you are :)
I can accept being alone and happy, then with someone and be miserable

And to all who have supported me
And been there for me , thank you from the bottom of my heart

And for those of you who tried to shoot me down … you missed

Stay healthy, stay positive
And never play it safe
Risk is the doorway to success

And failure is the best teacher

A Quick Word or Two

I’ve been brooding about this all day and I really want to get this out

Obstacles come in many forms
They can be physical, mental, financial and corporeal.
And overcoming them only makes you stronger

For sometime now, actually, long time now, this project I’ve been working on has had it shares of ups and downs, and has run into every single obstacle that I mentioned above

But there are other words that comes to mind… perseverance, persistence, endurance, determination and dedication

I’ll be honest, it’s taking me a couple of days to get out of this funk. But I have no one to blame, but myself, if I let obstacles and toxic elements affect me.

I need to prioritize.

I need to take care of my health first ( healthy body, healthy mind)

I need to remove all the toxic elements out of my life. Even if it ties built over the years. What’s that expression you can choose your friends, but you can’t choose your family.

I need to remind myself that people like to criticize and pass comments because they are trying to justify their own lives filled with misery or jealousy

I’m going to focus on the family that’s counts … and the immediate family that I have adopted. and there’s no way I’m going to let them down.

I need to focus more on the business end of my business. Fewer interruptions and stay focused

And regardless, I’m going to get this project off the ground and back up and running. It did well before it will do well again, because I know how to make it work.

If, and when I succeed, it will be all the more gratifying, knowing I didn’t let these obstacles stop me

And if it doesn’t, at least I know
I did it everything to the best of my abilities and that’s better than not trying at all

No regrets

Something is going to pay off…
I know it

I got today this one really hit home for me. I remember the time I first saw James Earl Jones on Sesame Street back in the 70s. I mean, I literally grow up with this man. And besides being the iconic voice of Darth Vader, he had so many other rules, including Admiral Greer in the Jack Ryan movies With Harrison Ford and Alec Baldwin, Coming to America with Eddie Murphy, and of course, the critically acclaimed the great White Hope, of course Simba‘s father in the Lion King. And probably one of the best voiceover men in the world. I am going to miss him daily, but what a full life he led.
